When Stan discovers that Steve’s gym class consists of girly games involving tickling where nobody wins or loses, he decides to toughen Steve and his friends by making them ranchers, inspired by his idol, George W. Bush. Buying a herd of cattle, he pressures Barry into killing a calf. He eats its meat and offers some to the boys, but they turn him down, while Barry himself shows signs of post traumatic stress syndrome. Steve says he and his friends will never become men in the back yard, to which Stan suggests a cattle drive to the slaughterhouse. Soon after he and the boys leave, two USDA agents tell Francine that the cows Stan bought have mad cow disease, and that anyone who eats the meat could go insane.
