Caprica Season 1 Episode 18 Apotheosis

Series conclusion. Clarice attempts her master plan to achieve apotheosis. In the aftermath of her failed attempt to kill the Graystones and retrieve her holoband, GDD Director Gara Singh approaches Clarice and tells her who he is at the GDD and in V-world. Singh informs Clarice that he’s going to slow down the Graystones by falsely telling the world that they are the terrorists that put Zoe up to the Maglev train bombing. He then arranges to have the Graystones arrested at their residence, but they manage to escape. The Graystones then heli-jet into the city and, on the way, decide to find Clarice’s holoband. They land in the woods where Amanda had arranged to meet Duram and find the holoband on the ground near to where he was shot. Daniel puts the band on and learns the details of the STO plan to blow up the arena and resurrect the STO terrorists in V-world. Daniel realizes the Zoe avatar program is a recruiting tool for the STO’s plan. The Graystones immediately embark on trying to foil the plan in a race against time whilst being pursued by the GDD. With help from a technically skilled co-worker with access to Graystone Industries HQ, Daniel is able to equip a laptop to wirelessly control all Cylons within 400-800 meters. Daniel then has three squads of Cylon Marines dropped into the arena by heli-jet. The final battle is a race between the Cylons targeting the terrorists in the arena, Daniel being discovered by the GDD, and the STO carrying out their plan to blow up the arena at the end of the Caprican anthem. The Cylons manage to eliminate all of the STO terrorists in time and prevent the destruction of the arena. Afterwards, the future of Caprica is depicted where a new era has dawned. Cylons have become integrated into society, taking over the jobs that humanity no longer wants. Humanity views them as heroes, even constructing a monument to the Cylons who stopped the Atlas Arena attack. The Adamas are revealed to have a new son, Bill, named after the deceased William in line with Tauron tradition. However, despite their foiled plan, the STO remain active and instead of merely recruiting people to their cause, they begin recruiting Cylons. On Gemenon, Lacy Rand has assumed the position of the Blessed Mother, while Clarice Willow has escaped justice for her terrorist activities and begins to preach directly to the Cylons. She tells them that they are God’s children and prophesies that their belief in God will allow them to become equals with humanity and then allow them to crush those who gave them life. Meanwhile, Daniel and Amanda Graystone finally complete a human-looking “skin job” body for their daughter’s avatar. Zoe Graystone is then seen rising from a small pool similar to the Cylon resurrection tubs seen in the Battlestar Galactica series.
